Last saturday I went to the Yves Saint Laurent exhibition in Paris. Unfortunately, pics were forbidden…It was about the infamous 1971 collection. On January 29, 1971, Yves Saint Laurent presented the collection known as the “Liberation” or “Forties” collection, which was inspired by the fashion of the war years. The collection was heavily criticized by the press, but gave full sway to the retro trend that quickly ended up conquering the street. If you are currently in Paris, you should definitely check it out ! Later I went to another event : La Petite Robe Noire from Guerlain ! The photo exhibition was divided in three parts and runs over two floors in the Champs Elysées shop. Too bad they will remove it soon so I was quickly advised to take as much pics as possible.
As for my outfit, I hesitated to wear a black dress at first. Finally, I choose a cute jumpsuit I bought in London from Primark. Too bad it was too big from me because it was the last one and I really, really wanted it. I decided to wear it with my favorite trench from The Laden Showroom, and my tennis shoes from Gu, bought in Japan !
I hope you will enjoy the pics !
